Alexa’s Senior Portraits

Sunday, September 27th, 2015

Time flies.  I’ve known Alexa since she was born and was thrilled when she asked me to take her senior portraits.  She drove all the way from Redding today for these photos, and they came out great.  It’s easy when working with such a beautiful young woman!

Amanda & Jay

Monday, April 7th, 2014

It was a beautiful day for photography today at William Land Park in Sacramento, where we were lucky to be working with Amanda and Jay for their engagement session.  We’re looking forward to the wedding in June!

Stephanie & Jeff

Monday, March 31st, 2014

As on-location photographers, our sessions usually get rescheduled when the weather doesn’t cooperate, but this past weekend we had a great time in the rain with Stephanie and Jeff in Old Sacramento for their engagement session.  The weather definitely added some drama to some of the images, but we hope the sun shines on Stephanie and Jeff forever!

Nixon

Thursday, March 6th, 2014

We we able to take some pics of young Nixon the other day, and he was a pleasure to work with. We photographed Mom and Dad’s wedding back in 2010, and are honored to share this major life’s landmark with t̶w̶o̶ three special people….

Chena’s Senior Portraits

Thursday, February 20th, 2014

We had the opportunity to do Chena’s Senior Portraits for her the other day. She was such a natural in front of the camera. Thanks for being such a great subject, and congratulations on your upcoming graduation Chena!

Kimberly and Matt – Two Lovers

Saturday, June 15th, 2013

Kimberly and Matt were such naturals in front of the camera! We commented several times about how little direction they needed to get natural and fun facial expressions out of them. Everything just seemed to flow throughout the shoot, and it was obvious they were having a great time, and of course we were too! We love it when we ask a couple to just talk, interact, and show their love for each other and they just took to it so naturally…. They claimed they were just really good “actors”, but we think otherwise. Thanks you guys!

Marisa and Clint

Tuesday, April 2nd, 2013

Marisa and Clint were married at Morgan Creek Golf Club in Roseville last weekend. We had such a great time hanging out with these two wonderful people, and they are definitely going to have many many years of happiness together. Thanks to the wedding party for toughing it out in the cold at dusk for the formals, we never heard a complaint from anybody! And thank you again Marisa and Clint, and the rest of your family and friends for making us feel like part of the crew… Congratulations!

House of Fashion Bridal Gown Photo Session

Wednesday, December 5th, 2012

Get Framed Photography had the opportunity to do a photo session with beautiful models Amber, Kayla, and Stacey to place some new photos in the House of Fashion on J Street in Mid-town Sacramento. It was so much fun working with Jen, Chris, and the rest of the crew at House of Fashion on this location shoot! In the coming months keep an eye out in their store for some giant new photos featuring photos from this session. A huge thanks to The Vizcaya Pavilion and Mansion and Le Rivage Hotel for letting us use their amazing facilities for our session. Brides, make sure you check out these venues when you are planning your big day. Both are great wedding venues who will take great care of you and your guests. We look forward to more collaboration with House of Fashion in the near future, so stay tuned!

Lynnleigh Kate 2 – the Purple Fairy

Thursday, November 29th, 2012

We took the kids to Apple Hill over the weekend and Ms. Lynnleigh fell in love with the purple fairy wings.  I agreed to buy them on the condition that I got to photograph her in them, which I got a chance to do this evening. It was both fun and challenging, but I think it turned out great.

Lynnleigh Kate

Tuesday, November 13th, 2012

Had a 15 minute mini-session with my niece Lynnleigh Kate tonight, who is visiting from Mississippi.  We were really only after one photo for a holiday card, but we had several that turned out great.
