Amanda & Jay

Monday, April 7th, 2014

It was a beautiful day for photography today at William Land Park in Sacramento, where we were lucky to be working with Amanda and Jay for their engagement session.  We’re looking forward to the wedding in June!

Stephanie & Jeff

Monday, March 31st, 2014

As on-location photographers, our sessions usually get rescheduled when the weather doesn’t cooperate, but this past weekend we had a great time in the rain with Stephanie and Jeff in Old Sacramento for their engagement session.  The weather definitely added some drama to some of the images, but we hope the sun shines on Stephanie and Jeff forever!

Kimberly and Matt – Two Lovers

Saturday, June 15th, 2013

Kimberly and Matt were such naturals in front of the camera! We commented several times about how little direction they needed to get natural and fun facial expressions out of them. Everything just seemed to flow throughout the shoot, and it was obvious they were having a great time, and of course we were too! We love it when we ask a couple to just talk, interact, and show their love for each other and they just took to it so naturally…. They claimed they were just really good “actors”, but we think otherwise. Thanks you guys!

Sacramento Kings Rhythm and Rims

Saturday, December 22nd, 2012

We’ve done a few things recently with the Sacramento Kings, but one of the most fun was the Rhythm and Rims event put on by the team just prior to the start of the regular season.  The event featured a VIP reception, an open practice and team scrimmage, a slam-dunk contest featuring Slamson and several other mascots form around the NBA, and a concert by Country Music star Phil Vassar.  Here are some of the photos from the practice and scrimmage.  There are lots of others from the other parts of this event that we’ll be adding as separate posts over the next couple of weeks.

House of Fashion Bridal Gown Photo Session

Wednesday, December 5th, 2012

Get Framed Photography had the opportunity to do a photo session with beautiful models Amber, Kayla, and Stacey to place some new photos in the House of Fashion on J Street in Mid-town Sacramento. It was so much fun working with Jen, Chris, and the rest of the crew at House of Fashion on this location shoot! In the coming months keep an eye out in their store for some giant new photos featuring photos from this session. A huge thanks to The Vizcaya Pavilion and Mansion and Le Rivage Hotel for letting us use their amazing facilities for our session. Brides, make sure you check out these venues when you are planning your big day. Both are great wedding venues who will take great care of you and your guests. We look forward to more collaboration with House of Fashion in the near future, so stay tuned!

Lynnleigh Kate 2 – the Purple Fairy

Thursday, November 29th, 2012

We took the kids to Apple Hill over the weekend and Ms. Lynnleigh fell in love with the purple fairy wings.  I agreed to buy them on the condition that I got to photograph her in them, which I got a chance to do this evening. It was both fun and challenging, but I think it turned out great.

Lynnleigh Kate

Tuesday, November 13th, 2012

Had a 15 minute mini-session with my niece Lynnleigh Kate tonight, who is visiting from Mississippi.  We were really only after one photo for a holiday card, but we had several that turned out great.

The Taylor Sisters

Wednesday, November 7th, 2012

When the Taylor sisters contacted me about this portrait session, I immediately thought of Donnie & Marie Osmond.  I’m sure they’re too young to know who I’m talking about, but here they are – a little bit country and a little bit rock n’ roll!

The Covert Ladies’ Portraits

Monday, October 22nd, 2012

CSU Chico is a beautiful place for a portrait session with a group of beautiful ladies.  Next time, we’ll have to convince Dad to come too, but it was fun making these portraits of Teri, Alexa, and Nicole.  Hope you had fun with your post-session shopping trip and made it home safe!

Karla & Casey’s Wedding

Monday, October 22nd, 2012

Karla and Casey Corrigan were married on October 13, 2012 in an intimate setting on the grounds of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Citrus Heights, California.  A great time was had by all at the short reception that followed and then Get Framed absconded with the bride and groom to the LDS Temple in Folsom, California for a few more portraits as the sun went down.  It was a great day and we wish this very fun couple all the best!
