Nixon’s First Birthday

Monday, November 17th, 2014

We’ve been working with Adellena and Justin since way back in 2009. That is when we met for the first time at Pete’s coffee and they graciously brought us in to document their wedding in San Francisco. We had an awesome time shooting their big day, and have had the pleasure of taking their Maternity, Newborn, One Month old, and several other portrait sessions since. And this past weekend we had an awesome time sharing Nixon’s first birthday with him. Nixon was so much fun to work with, and as you can see he is such a happy kid! Happy Birthday Nixon! We look forward to watching you grow up!

Amanda & Jay

Monday, April 7th, 2014

It was a beautiful day for photography today at William Land Park in Sacramento, where we were lucky to be working with Amanda and Jay for their engagement session.  We’re looking forward to the wedding in June!

Stephanie & Jeff

Monday, March 31st, 2014

As on-location photographers, our sessions usually get rescheduled when the weather doesn’t cooperate, but this past weekend we had a great time in the rain with Stephanie and Jeff in Old Sacramento for their engagement session.  The weather definitely added some drama to some of the images, but we hope the sun shines on Stephanie and Jeff forever!

Chena’s Senior Portraits

Thursday, February 20th, 2014

We had the opportunity to do Chena’s Senior Portraits for her the other day. She was such a natural in front of the camera. Thanks for being such a great subject, and congratulations on your upcoming graduation Chena!

Rachel and Adam

Thursday, August 15th, 2013

Rachel and Adam were married in beautiful Mendocino last weekend. You should have seen the look in their eyes as they saw each other all dressed up during their ceremony, this couple is truly in love. We were so blown away by all of the kind words given during the toast by friends and family. So many people had so many wonderful things to say about these two, we are sure they will have many happy years together! Thank you so much bringing us along to share in your day with you, we had such a great time. Cheers!

Kimberly and Matt – Two Lovers

Saturday, June 15th, 2013

Kimberly and Matt were such naturals in front of the camera! We commented several times about how little direction they needed to get natural and fun facial expressions out of them. Everything just seemed to flow throughout the shoot, and it was obvious they were having a great time, and of course we were too! We love it when we ask a couple to just talk, interact, and show their love for each other and they just took to it so naturally…. They claimed they were just really good “actors”, but we think otherwise. Thanks you guys!

House of Fashion Bridal Gown Photo Session

Wednesday, December 5th, 2012

Get Framed Photography had the opportunity to do a photo session with beautiful models Amber, Kayla, and Stacey to place some new photos in the House of Fashion on J Street in Mid-town Sacramento. It was so much fun working with Jen, Chris, and the rest of the crew at House of Fashion on this location shoot! In the coming months keep an eye out in their store for some giant new photos featuring photos from this session. A huge thanks to The Vizcaya Pavilion and Mansion and Le Rivage Hotel for letting us use their amazing facilities for our session. Brides, make sure you check out these venues when you are planning your big day. Both are great wedding venues who will take great care of you and your guests. We look forward to more collaboration with House of Fashion in the near future, so stay tuned!

Lynnleigh Kate 2 – the Purple Fairy

Thursday, November 29th, 2012

We took the kids to Apple Hill over the weekend and Ms. Lynnleigh fell in love with the purple fairy wings.  I agreed to buy them on the condition that I got to photograph her in them, which I got a chance to do this evening. It was both fun and challenging, but I think it turned out great.

Lynnleigh Kate

Tuesday, November 13th, 2012

Had a 15 minute mini-session with my niece Lynnleigh Kate tonight, who is visiting from Mississippi.  We were really only after one photo for a holiday card, but we had several that turned out great.

The Taylor Sisters

Wednesday, November 7th, 2012

When the Taylor sisters contacted me about this portrait session, I immediately thought of Donnie & Marie Osmond.  I’m sure they’re too young to know who I’m talking about, but here they are – a little bit country and a little bit rock n’ roll!
